I've been going to this school for basically my whole life. When I moved back, I thought it would be a safe environment. But it isn't. The students have no voice or say, and there's no justice whatsoever. Nobody enjoys being in that building unless you're financially stable, popular, or favored by the workers. The staff is unprofessional and treats different students as minorities. I can name multiple accounts where I've been harassed, looked down on, and screwed over by the adults. There is no communication either. And, as stated before, this school is very insensitive and close-minded. They disregard LGBTQ+ students, mental illness, intellectual disabilities/disorders, and are very conservative. I've never felt descriminated anywhere else but this school, and it's not just the students either. Not only that, but a lot of people don't do their jobs. So, overall, Lakeview School District is NOT somewhere safe.

I've been going to this school for all but three years of my dducational life, and not once have I felt safe or supported. I got expelled for posting a negative opinion on Facebook (apparently I was "threatening the principal's power"). Also, as a transgender student, I don't feel safe at a school full of open Trump supporters and a principal who says things like, "girls in legs are like gay people-nobody wants to see them". The staff also takes no consideration for poor or mentally ill students. They expect every student to have a computer and wifi, and, once in seventh grade, my friend had a panic attack and went to the guidance office. The counselor told them they were doing it for attention and sent them back to class crying. Frankly, Lakeview is homophobic, transphobic, ableist garbage.
